Beauty tips : Celebrity secrets
CELEBRITIES have to look good.
It’s their job. So who better to ask than three of our most beautiful celebrities. Nicole Theriault or Nikki, Buachompoo Ford or Bua and Myria Benedetti or Nat reveal all their beauty tips so that you can be as good-looking as they are (if not better!)
Nikki is deceptively older than she appears and she thanks her active lifestyle. She loves to jet ski and this keep her physically strong and healthy.
Nat’s secret to everlasting beauty is sleep and lots of it. She also mentioned a healthy diet and regular exercise too. Bua agreed and felt that reducing stress also helped her to stay pretty and fresh looking.
“
Avoid fatty foods and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Try to exercise at least three to four times a week to improve your general fitness. These are the the best ways to control or reduce weight. Diet pills are a bad idea and harmful too,” suggested Bua.It is important that these girls have clear and radiant skin. Nikki complained of having dry skin but said that drinking lots of water helped. “As well as drinking lots of water I carry a water spray around with me at all times. When my face starts to look tired, a few squirts are an instant pick-me-up,” revealed Nikki.
Bua added that a regular skin care routine was essential. “I cleanse and moisturise daily to avoid pimples and spots,” smiled Bua. Like many of us Nat has combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. “I only use cosmetics when I am working. It’s important to allow your skin to rest every now and then. If I know I am going to be outside for long periods of time I wear sunscreen to protect my skin from the harmful rays,” commented Nat.
Surprisingly, both Nikki and Nat thought that using a daily conditioner made their hair limp and lifeless. Both advised using a conditioner two to three times a week to avoid over conditioning. “My hair is thin and breaks easily so I use a cream to help with split ends,” said Nat.
Nikki’s water sport hobbies damage her hair because of the water and sun. She protects her hair by coating it with special hair oil to avoid dryness. I only go to the salon for colouring when I have lots of publicity too because they damage and dry the hair,” revealed Nikki.
The three girls also emphasised beauty from within.
Taking care of oneself and not getting stressed are important factors in looking good. “Try to look on the bright side of life. Be optimistic about things and don’t worry,” advised Nikki.
“Keeping fit doesn’t have to be expensive. Walk a little way each day or use the stairs instead of the lift. Every little helps,” suggested Bua.
Nat summed it up by quoting a Thai proverb, “Living without illness is the best fortune” and we should take care of our health by exercising and eating healthily.
